    hi ,i have used vht vinyl plastic dye on the interior of my car,i am wondering if i can do my wing mirrors,i have the standard black mirrors on my red vx,thanks

    It's what it says.....a dye, not paint.
    Dyes are very thin and designed for fabrics and some for flexible plastics. They are designed to penatrate. They don't dry hard like paint.
    Wood stains are a type of dye. If you have ever tried to get stain off your skin, it's harder to get off than paint because the stain/dye penatrates.
    It will just run off a non-porous surface and offer no protection.
    Lash out and buy a spray can of paint lol.
