Yeah advertising is annoying. Darren what would it take to not see ads? Like say a monthly subscription fee or yearly subscription fee?

Ads are spasmodic for me.

If they do appear, it will be at the bottom of the page, below the last post.

Most annoying on iPhone - just hijacks and sends you to some scam site as seen in screenshots above. Can’t press back button, you’re stuck with the bad until you reload the site. It’s not actually an ad...

Occurs randomly - happened 3 times in the past hour.

I found the source of my random advert and it wasn't this site. I do run Adblock+ on my machines as well as a Pi-hole on my home network which catches a lot of crap.

Will it stop Windows 10 from reinstalling crap games apps after I delete them?

It will warn you that the programs/website could harm your computer.

I had a look at AdBlock+ site.
Do I have to install on each browser?

AdBlock+ is done per browser.

+1 to Pi-Hole, amazing what that thing catches, even just IoT devices speaking out to the internet without you realising, I have gone as far as creating another wifi network on a separate VLAN and joined all my IoT which can't talk to the primary network unless it originated from within the primary network.

Yet to hear anything back but 100% confident this is to do with moving advertising across to a new platform.

I don't think my skills are at the same level as yours but next I want to create a local DNS so repeat lookups and other call home type queries stop at the local DNS. Need to learn more about what I can do with a Rpi that I run the Pi-hole on.
