Isn't the fan on a vk under the left hand side of the dash not that hard to get out its probably full of leaves and crap

Yes spot on - it's on the left hand side and i hope it's not hard to get out.

Mine had a shop docket in my fan. It was flapping around for six months before I pulled the glove box out and fetched out the receipt. I used to make it stop by playing with the fan settings but after a while i had enough.

I reckon there is a docket in mine too. I am hoping to be able to get one of those wire grabbers into the blower and pull the paper out rather than take the whole assembly out.

Ok then there might be a piece of paper in the blower fan or its rubbing on something because the fluttering has been there for a while. I will need to get upside down and take a look.
