Vk calais 333 pack

I have picked up my engine. Looks as good as the photos. The sump is weeping a bit. Will have to pull off and replace the gaskets. Started cleaning up the diff and respayed it gloss black. I will start on the front suspension next weekend.

Finally a start. Pulled all the front suspension out. The rack and shocks are stuffed but the rest is better then expected.

Got a package in the mail last week. I am goin to enjoy fitting all this. Not pictured are the front shocks already fitted and the froont and rear sway bars. Also have a reco rack and tie rod ends. The diff is all fitted up with new bushes and painted ready to fit. Hopefully my king springs arrive next week otherwise I will be fitting pedders.

It is a bit like Christmas with all the packages arrriving. I even managed to score a V8 pedal box on eBay. Going for superlow kings in the front and low kings in the back to give it a bit of a racked stance.

i love it. nothing better when a big box arrives and you run giggling to the garage to open it all.

i gotta order stuff from the states, so usually at least a 2 week waiting period. 6 weeks is possible. so when it arrives.... i cant describe it. lets just say i go from being a 33 y.o. to about 10

doubled up so I will just say that repalcing the rack is a prick of a job try to get the steering back in and reconnecting the power steering lines. Space is very limited.
