Yeh Very happy. I have a new set of headlight and indicators to fit. The rest is nothing. So I might get it ready by the weekend. Then I rip that old 5litre and auto out.

Mate I have attended to all the roadworthy items. I should get my green slip on Monday. Next week end I plan to strip the old engine and gearbox out. So slowly getting there. I want it driveable for C 4 C No. 8 on the 2nd October. Fitted a front spoiler.

Finally the old 304 and trimatic are out. The plan now is to put the new engine and gearbox in. The painter is not ready yet. I will have to pull out the engine latter on for paint. Should be a better job getting all the paint done professionally in one hit.

Started to fit up the new engine. Found an issue that the pacemakers on the right hand side hit the bell housing and will foul the clutch cable. I checked the Pacemaker catalouge and the 5020 should fit auto and manual but obviously not a 5 speed manual. I will have to get it modified to fit.

I now have a clutch pedal. No steering wheel or gearshift yet.

Engine is in. Need to get a tailshaft made up and and a new exhaust. A lot of tidying up to do. Thats were we left it today.
