Hi Guys

Calling all VK Calais Gurus

My digital speedo is reading 86km/hr @ 100km/hr

Stats
Tires 225/50 16
Diff 2.60
Trans Trimatic
Trans cog Yellow
Cable cog Green

I tried a white cable cog which is one tooth less and didnt do much really, maybe gave me a liitle more speed.

Have I got a problem with speed sender or cruise transducer?

Thanks

tyres will throw your speedo out factory tyres for a vk calais are 205/65/15 how much height difference is it between factory tyres and your 16'' 50 series tyres could be enough to throw it out.

Must of been correct when it left HDT as the 225/50 16 Aeros are standard

My calculations say you should have a 22tooth dark blue gear, you could have a transducer problem, has it ever read correct?
If not I would see how a dark blue gear goes, then depending on the readings from the white, dark green and dark blue if it still reads wrong we can say exactly what gear would be required.

cheers
Scott
