Yes. You can force induce upto a 5.3l motor in a vk.
As for what turbo, I've seen a eBay t3/t4 hybrid make 296rwhp in a vu v6 manual, so something along those lines would suit I'd imagine.

Yes in qld atleast. It's weight divided by ## for max cubes. Add forced induction and the equation changes so you can't have as many cubes. 5.7 ls1 is perfectly legal in Vk but forced max is 5.3. AFAIK.

yeah i meant more like: why is there a limit? since you can stick a 400ci engine in, is there a clause that FI can only be 5.3 max?

im legitimately interested, not trying to stir ****.

(and cbf looking for myself :p)

Any vehicle weighing over 1100 kg's [factory designated weight for that vehicle], by the way always go for the sle, calais, fairlane, fairmont, or the flashest one of that model cause they always weigh a little more cause of the electric windows/central locks ,ect,'[even if you dont have all the flash stuff].....if it is mono constructed[ not a full chassis like a one tonner, for cu in you multiply the original weight x .294 for aspirated and x.244 for supercharged or turbo

eg..1250 kg's would allow a engine of 367 cubs aspirated and 305 cu in's blown

under VSB 14 - which is the current national code of practice for the modification of light vehicles (most states)

max capacity for FI = vehicle weight x3
max capacity for NA = vehicle weight x 5

Just read on Dept Transport QLD site.Exactly what Darren says. Turbo is 1100kg by 3 meaning you can only turbo a 202.But that may be with out a Mod Plate.
