Howdy guys. First post after weeks of lurking. On with the show...

I have a VK carby sedan that I've been doing some suspension work on. I`ve installed a set of Low Kings Springs front and rear, new dampers on rear. That bit was easy.

WRT the front end, I obtained a VL as a donor. I have removed the front struts and am using them with a Monroe Protection kit ( bump stops and dust boot) as they are in good condition. So, VL struts, rotors, brake mounts - but with my VK calipers.

Possible problem - one of the VL struts is Wiley, the other is Monroe.

Have them fitted and have a grinding sound coming from drivers side. Swapped over the caliper mounts and noise decreased. It appears the slightly thicker VL rotor is just touching the caliper mount.

I`m thinking of running an angle grinder round the offending edge tomorrow morning.

Any ideas?

Got it sorted.

14 inch mag was just rubbing on tie rod end.

15's on, no problems.
