Here's my VK Grp A replica build.
Found a one owner 84 berlina that had been sitting for 19 years. Was a factory carb 202 5spd.
Absolutely zero rust.
Bought a Vp 5 litre 5 speed ute and used all running gear including lsd diff that has been shortened with billet axles. Used pacemaker 5600 headers. Standard vk 6 cylinder k-frame
Engine bay has had a bit of a tidy up, painted and motor installed and running.
Motor is stock apart from having a crow 4761 cam and delco wizard tune. Hope to have rest of the car painted in next 6 months or so. Have done all work on myself with only outsource so far being the diff.

Was reading another thread yesterday where VP utes were uncommon, let alone 5ltr 5spd examples.
I hope the body was junk on the one you gutted out.
Anyway, keep us updated.

Damn really, wasn't a bad shell. Just gutted it and sent it to scrap smh.

Dam , and to quote Queen , Another one bites the dust.

And now with no more ford / Holden / aus made , someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe no such vechice( style like these) as a ute / drives similar to car in the world now .
Love my utes soo I'm a little sad to say the least.

PS , that build is looking great, looking forward to seeing future posts / photos .

Yeah don't see many vp utes,even junk v6 models like mine...even rare for vg ute.

Admittedly they all got trashed & scrapped.Most likely see rare vg/p maloo before the junk models.

Got a asteroid silver vk with 185/4l60/4.11 vl diff bitsa build from leftovers...waiting on some 15 inch aero's & if he ever does it a panelbeater/painter relo to fix boot floor/beaver.
