iv got an efi vk on lpg. it was goin fine until i swapped the engine with a reco 1 that i had. the reco 1 was a standard black carby motor. the carby motor has been in another car since the rebuild and ran fine. now in the vk with the efi attached it runs poorly. it has a very rough idle after giving it a decent rev. any ideas wot the problem might be?
thanks

Cam profile is different between Carb & EFI but usually not enough to make a huge difference.
Does it change between car warm & cool?
Whats performance like?
what rpm is it idling at?

I would first of all check
Earthing for the computer
Air flow meter there is an idle mix screw (hex) that might need adjusting but only as a last resort.
check for air leaks
check TPS adjustment
check your vacumn hoses are fitted correctly & not leaking
Make sure all your vacumn sensor/switches are opperating correctly
Check your vacumn advance on your dizzy and make sure its not leaking.

cheers
Scott
