VK Wagz EFI 5L 5spd

Battery tray removed. Last time/first time we done this was on me other white wagon, and that turned out to be a pretty bad hack job lol. This one turned out heaps better. Welded up the holes, grinded them back and will just primer it for now.

Trying to make the battery fit over the other side. Will cut the tray down a bit more and I rekon we'll be all good! Might be a bit of an inconvenience to adjust the headlight, but it's not sumfin ya do everyday so she'll be sweet! lol.

Thx for the pic mate. Unfortunately the power steering pump is in the way of it in just about every position except where it is at the moment. Was even thinkin I might cut a recess into the inner wheel well, but might just try and fit it without going that far unless we really have to.

Still got it. Just not 100% sure on its future lol. Still doin the turbo motor, but prolly should just get rid of the red wagz coz we got to many cars here. Only got it to put the turbo motor into, but that's mounted to an engine frame in the shed and can start it on that.

Yeah that's another option, but really wanna keep it in the original spot so I don't have to change much wiring. I rekon I got it sussed tho aye, will finish it off 2morrow and see how we go!

Battery is mounted. Got another VL tailshaft, this one must of been right coz it fits. Got a VL intermediate shaft, that fits too. The VK clutch cable is hooked up to the T5, looks like it should work. Moved the gear shifter plate back about 10mm. Used the fuel line out of the red wagz to go under this wagz to use as the return line. Put the VL tank in with the VR pump. Have made the wiring loom to power it up. Soon fella's, soon! :thumbsup:

Nah not running yet.....been a bit slack aye lol. Getting it done slowly tho, quality takes time haha. :thumbsup:
