Does anyone know what 308 block is the best to use with vn + heads with 4 barrel manifold for a VL Berlina 1988, in QLD.

Any of them work, but the VN block is slightly stronger/better not that it really matters. If you are bolting it to a trimatic get the earlier block

as foam said depends if your using the trimatic then you will have to stay with the assie pattern block, if you have a factory v8 vl then this is you block pattern, unless you want to change boxes then your options are endless
