VL Alloy fuel tank

Does anyone know the spec and measurements for an alloy drop tank for my 87 VL.
Would to get one made through a certified fabricator.
But I need the plans and measurements for them

I made up one out of ply and made it fit perfectly and then gave it to a fabricator but that was for the fj Ute, it holds 100 litres.

There are lowe fab tank...was also another dude from Tassie making sick tanks for commo's,torries,kingies etc cant think of his name.

Some have even adapted slr droptanks although wondered if filler neck was hidden behind number plater or in boot.

Just as a matter of interest Rare Spares have new tanks for about $1100 but they would be standard size and plated. May be you could have one altered ??

Do you want the 100+litre capacity or just want the look of a drop tank ?
