Future:resprayed sometime in the near future, i want to fit my first turbo engine from my old calais which is gettin a freshen up now... got a full turbo conversion for it with nistune ecu & 550cc siemans inj's.. in the middle of doin rust work so hopefully on the road soon but respray n 30et sometime next year... heres some pics... just got the new rear window section welded in so i finished it off this weekend and its in primer now thats it for now... will update over the next few weeks, hopefully the front screen is next on the list
Looks nice mate, Whoa look at the parcel shelf holes you gonna weld those up or throw some 6x9's in there (by the looks of the size lol)
Xstatic64... the rear shelf that came out of the calais had pioneer 6x9s.. so thats goin back in.. its made out of mdf not the factory one
nothing at all nath... been raining for over a week now n i just wanna paint the rear window section so i can put the window back in.. so hoping on the weekend its fine to do it.... if i had a shed it would be nearly finished by now

little update... finally got some paint on the rear window section this morning... hopefully if its fine tomorrow i will get the window back in
ok a small update..... finally got the back window in last week.. also got the parcel shelf in with speakers n wired up... lifted the rear end so its legal height for the rwc... gave the boot, roof n the drivers side a buff.. its actually white again not cream lol.. and last night we fitted a new exhaust to it... old system was way to loud for me.. few pics...........
little update.... decided to finally have a crack at fitting my autometer gauges in the "sunglass" holder.... im happy with the end result... just need to get some decent pics with the gauges lit up... few pics of what i did today..
Nice man I like it....However your lucky you aint in vic. As that parcel shelf wouldn't pass a roadworthy here....Only say that as it is cut and is classed as structual... Good luck with it man. Coming along nicely
hey nath thanx heaps for that conversion chart... makes it alot easier to work out.... btw u might have a job helpin me with the turbo conversion one day haha.. i only parts i need are a cooler, o-ring type fuel rail to suit the 550cc inj's and the water outlet off the heater hose to turbo....
