just thought i would update this... have done about 1000 clicks with the new motor in it and it hasnt missed a beat, cant say the same about the 5 speed tho... its shagged but i just picked up and rb20det 5 speed box for it and will go in with a new clutch soon

2.5 litre surge tank is in the shed, just waiting to get the fuel pumps then fit it

got new plates for the calais a few months ago aswell and i scored a set of 5 brock vk aero wheels.. undecided if i will keep them or not..

Looks a lot cleaner with a battery bag. Not sure what their use is, but looks the part
