vl high octane chip installed now wont start

i have a vl berlina non turbo ive put a high octane chip in it and now it wont start i got both red and green lights on does anyone have any ideas? cheers.

Pretty good chance your soldering wasn't up to scratch

im not sure if the red and green led's are supose to stay on at all times

I just did one of these the other day. had the same problem with no start and both lights coming on. it was my bad soldering, remember these boards are double sided, both sides of the board need to be soldered to the socket.

yeah both sides are done i got another computer for it and did it again still have the same problem. everything else works just not the fuel pump all works with the old chip.

use a multimeter with the computer unplugged to check your soldering.
