Hey guys iv just done a manual conversion on my 88 vl executive.
Using the old ecu
I have bridged the neutral switch
Wired up all the engine with original loom but there’s 2 earths that I’m unsure where they get bolted to
It turns but won’t fire hoping they may have something to do with it any help would be much appreciated

Are those earth earth wires bolted to the block? If so, try bolting the other ends to the chassis rail

All good mate I figured the problem I fried a couple of wires. Fixed them up and gave her a crank and she fired straight up, thanks for the reply’s any fellas, do have one question it is idling abit higher then normal would that b due to the conversion, iv checked timing and that’s fine, checked AAC that seems to be workin fine, should I just unscrew the grub screw on the TB and idle it down a fraction coz once it’s warmed up she sits just under 2000rpm
