hey abscent - Make live easy, get a complete VL Calais or Berlina rear disc brake diff/axle assesmbly (I got mine from a place that specialise in Toowoomba). Unbolt the old drums, bolt in the new discs. (4 bolts from memory). Be smart, and upgrade the booster and master too - don't skimp on brakes as they will save you one day!
Apparently here in QLD you will need a Mod plate for this too - but if no one knows then.....

Do u know how much i can expect to pay from the wreckers for this assesmbly? Or what you would pay??? Im good with haggle'n stuff cheap aslong as i know a price to work with.. :yeah:

The mod plate is that done by queensland transport? a mechanic? or an engineer??

you get the mod plate from an engineer. mine cost somewhere just under $200 for the VT front brakes, VN 5.0 eng and T700 conversion.
