Something is not transferring drive. If you can put it into gear, let the clutch pedal out, and have no drive with the engine running.... Stop looking and pull the box. Because either way, its gotta come out. You may have torn the centre out of the clutch, broken the input shaft of the box, broken the drive straps on the pressure plate, cracked the diaphram spring of the pressure plate... the list goes on.
I work at a brake and clutch specialist and see this a couple times a week. I spend about 5 min checking out a clutch issue before i make the decision to pull the box. The only times i dont, if i find a fault in the cable or hydrolic operation. Which i fix first, then retest the clutch.
