Got a bit more done on this today, weathers been holding things up quite a bit.....
Started cleaning up round the windscreen channel, bit of surface rust & found a couple of pinholes in the corner so cleaned all that up. Tried some lead for the 1st time to fill in the pinholes & worked mint, put a screw head in the molding holes at the top & welded those in. Cut the top off & a quick flick with the grinder & that was that one finished - want to get this all sorted so i can get a screen in it then its bye bye to both back door handles. I'll keep this updated as i go.......

Well got that pillar all done, finished up that molding hole at the top & a skim of filler over it. Came up with a cunning plan while i was out there to keep the sun off my bald head to lol, had an old umbrella but no base so soon sorted that. One old commy wheel & some exhaust tubing then got the mig out lol - worked mint:thumbsup:

Bit more progress today, close to finished round the screen. Once it's ready to paint i'm just going to use what ever paint i have in the shed to seal it for now, still no idea what color this will end up but time will tell........
