4 Hours work & nearly got the passenger side finished, block it back & probably 1 more coat of primer & she'll be ready for the top coat. Just have to wet sand the sill & pull the front bumper & headlights off after that - shes getting closer

Drove this for the first time today - everything's working well but shes to high & needs some wider tyres i no that for sure. Wasn't going to lower it but i might just drop the bitch fair on her ass - a tad gutless compared to the daily to ( Vs ecotech ) which worry's me considering i've dropped a dirty 30 in my Vc. Might be time to drop all the goodies into this one & have a good long think of what to do engine wise in the Vc...........

Well getting a fair bit done on this, didnt drive to flash the other day courtesy of some stuffed bushes so replaced most of those today. Couple more to change over yet, putting shortened shocks & super lows in her as well & an adjustable panhard bar.
Made the decision to get stuck in & finish this & put the Vc old hold for a few months, got a lot going on this year so this was the best plan. So a few of the Vc's goodies are going into this, already fitted the extractors & the 2.5 inch system today. Sounds mint as to - other thing i started on while i got the rear in the air is that dent on the rear wheel arch, was pushed in quite a bit. Got it about 75% there now thanks to the aid of a wind up jack lol, sort that & the dent in the drivers door then i cant get it ready to paint.
So yeah will be some steady updates coming on this all going to plan over the next few weeks......

Scored some more bits for this - so you no this is a true budget build ( Higher Orders Lol ) . Two 215/60/16's for the rear $50 & a brand new set of mats on $1 reserve auction for $5 so cant go wrong there, got home & fitted 1 tire then went to get the next & find my lazy ass fat apprentice asleep in the other - bloody hard to get good help these days. Going to try finish up the rear end today all going well - also bought 6 meters of 5% tint last night so hopefully might get that by the weekend to...

Well a sliced open hand didn't stop me today, noticed the exhaust i made was hitting the diff when dropped right down. So got the grinder out & cut off the rear section & modified it so she aint hitting now, done all the brackets to hold it up so that's that finished.
After that i decided to see if i could modify the shifter in the parts wagon with a gear knob i bought - took the top handle off then came up with a plan. Ground down a socket extension to fit in the top, will weld it up tomorrow. The gear knob now fits sweet - will lower it a bit yet but looks the goods, am just going to run a switch in the console for the power & economy button. So that's tomorrows mission to sort all that - anyways heres some pics......

Getting a bit done this morning - was on an auction site the other day checking out this traders listings when i spotted 2 single beds & got a thought. Needed something to hold up the front floor - steel here is dear as so i new it would cost $40 to get some angle iron to do it & wouldn't look that great. So chucked a $10 bid on these beds & got them, putting the bases in the rafters for storage so works real well.
Anyways i lengthened the tubular bed end to suit the back of the wagon, now was going to trim it down so it sits under the floor but sitting it in there uncut it looks quite good. Decisions decisions......

Leave it as is or under the floor what you guys think???? Its going to get a coat of black satin & a skim of filler where i joined it.....

Well after a massive storm for the last 3 days the sun finally came out so i'm making the most of it, back doors painted & got the 1st coat on the front door. Going to try get that side finished today, long ways to go but shes starting to take shape now. Bought a dent puller i'm waiting on to arrive to get the last of that dent out of the drivers side wheel arch, top piece is pretty much sorted but the bottoms pushed back a bit. You cant see it unless you look behind the bumper but fussy me i want it sorted lol
Other thing i did last few days was build a pod for the stereo - mark 1 version looked like crap but the mark 2 will look the goods when i stain the wood. Anyways heres some pics.....
