Hey im currently buying the parts needed for a VLT conversion. I have exhaust manifold, crosover pipe and turbo-afm pipes. Anyway getting onto the subject of VLT sleepers and my plans to keep my VL a sleeper once turbo, I thought how even more awsome a VLT Wagon Sleeper would be, and after reading The Wagon Thread on CalaisTurbo.com.au its the next thing rite after the turbo converion on the todo list todo list = VLT conversion, Wagon swap.

I have a few thing i want clarified...
How much does a rolling chassis wagon go for these days? with/without front end?
Is the drivetrain the same between wagon and commodore? tailshaft longer etc??
How easy does the front end of a VL come off?
Is the suspension setups the same? Can i use my sedan suspension setup in a wagon?

Heres what I know.
I bought a complete 5 speed wagon for $800. So not much.
The diff is different. Mounting points are different to sedans.
Tailshaft is the same. I have a sedan shaft at the moment in mine.
About a dozen bolts and it's off. Very easy.
Front suspension will fit. Same as sedan. Rear end wont. Some bits might but the shocks are different lengths. Springs are different lengths but will fit.
