VQ:yeah:
depends on km's i wouldn't buy a VL TURBO with 200,000ks on it but would take a VQ5L with 200,000k's any day.

i like my v8's and the vn shape so it's a easy answer for me:D

think of it this way.....

VLCT motor, 200k on the clock an they start to go nasty realistically...

GM 304ci in the VQ, there good for 600k

My bro's 304 is up to 450k an not 1 rattle, it's a pure dream.....

thats interesting hozy. but i was told after 250, 000klms on the clock u start losing power. unless u get it rebuilt. correct me if i am wrong. still learnin about cars.

Dont want to say this but my bro pulled 150.2rwkw Few months back an we just recently did rotor button & cap, leads, injectors & plugs. Pulled 163rwkw

So losing power... I would not beleive that.

all depends on the life of the car mate, how much it got trashed, service history etc etc, the old eb i got at home has just clicked over to 230,000 and it is still going stronger then ever i got it at 180,000 and gave it nothing but punishment each and everyday the only major thing to stuff up in it was the gaskets.

i own a vq there are a nice ride , but i have been looking to bye a vlt bt1 for the last 2 years and all the ones i have driven go hard but the body has be hacked up by people cutting 6x9 holes in the back self and weaken the body and making them unroadwethy if ya can find a goood vlt ya have done well , Go the vlt if you want to fly or go the vq if you want to crisue

im curious to know what problems the RB30's have once they hit 200,000km:confused: want to explain because ive never heard of that one before...do they get a death rattle like the v6 buicks? lol
