hey everyone, could someone please tell me if it is possible to remove the switch on the master cylinder as mine is leaking from there and running down the wires onto the paintwork, if you can remove it please post how. Also i cant bleed my brakes cause where its leaking it must be sucking air to :(

yes you can remove the warning switch to replace it. be careful as the plastic is weak.
New m/c's have poor quality switches i've noticed which is a dissappointment considering how expensive they can be.
Also when you're bleeding the brakes, if you push the pedal too far you can feel when you've gone too far and push the piston rod (inside the m/c) past the warning point that the switch detects.

Hi mate, there should be no brake fluid in that part of the master cylinder where the switch is located. If you are sure there is fluid leaking from the switch, the Orings are the problem and you need a new master cylinder or if that one is ok for reconditioning, put a repair kit through it.
    Good luck
