hey guys, looked through the car audio section on tips on removing the cover on the 4" speakers in the dash of VN's but couldnt find any info.

Any one done this before? i have taken off the plastic cover that surrounds the vents (removed 2 screws from outside, and 1 from under dash), but then i cant manage to move the vents so that the plastic cover on the speaker can be removed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

use a torch and/or a screwdriver to find 2 hidden screws in deep holes, u may have to push the door further forward as u unscrew one of them.

there is 4 screws to remove the vent, then a screw for the cover.
you will need a shorthish phillips head to get all 4 screws.
keep looking and feel with your fingers, you'll find them.
they are screwed from the door side.
