vn 5 speed to a vs v6 auto

just questioning if a vn v6 5speed box would fit into my vs series II which is currently auto??
Also wat mods would i need to do?
ive also been told that factory fitted vn manuals had a different motor then the auto something about the crank? is this the same with the vs?

vn and vp are different flywheels, vn, vp and vs are both different motors. you just need a different belhousing far as i know

Yes, if the vn is a series 2 (8 bolt flywheel not 6). It is strongly recommended to get the flywheel 'mirror balanced' to your current auto flex plate that you have since it's coming from a totally different motor so it's a completely different balance.

thnx guys for the info i might just go and look for a vs 5speed box i only thought about using the vn 5spped coz my mates got 1 and its been rebuilt and it seems very good. but im sure i can find a decent vs manual box also any suggestions about strocker cranks cams etc for ecotec v6 do i go to crane cams or crow cams or something like that?
