currently have everything mechanically plumbed up, I'm struggling with the wiring side of it. I have figured out the v8 engine loom wires and am trying to make a patch loom to join the v6 side which is located drivers side firewall (2 plugs, one 6 pin one 8 pin).
could anyone please help me figure out what these wires do?
    The wire colours are :
    orange
    pink
    green/white
    orange/red
    pink/blue
    red/black
    blue/red
    green
    brown/red
    blue/white
    light green/blue
    green
    brown
any help would be muchly appreciated

Why are you trying to join it to a V6 loom? Which ECU are you running?

Are you talking about the 2 plugs by the side of the fuse/relay box under the bonnet?

You'll need to track down wiring diagrams for each model.

Yeah the v8 loom has 2 plugs that end near the fuse box
but the v6 has 2 plugs in the corner of the drivers side firewall
so there's a distance of roughly 30mm between the two
