Hi I have a vn 5ltr but I need a new trans. Would a Ls1 trans bolt up as they are a 2 piece casting not one piece

Won’t work as the LS1 trans is electronically controlled so would need a separate computer to run the auto, could be done but much easier to rebuild your existing trans or find one the same
