Love the VP calais wheel, being trying to find one for mine. I know the standard VP steering wheel was slightly smaller than the VN, is this the same with the Calais/SS wheel

you put time into this one. should post how-to's on the climate blue LED n Dash or tell me when i can find a story on how-to do it

Getting to that - I have the photos of the climate - just need to edit them to point to the spots that need the work - like where to drill and solder

Here is some photos of the climate control blue screen job.

Pull the unit apart.
Snip the tube globes off close to the tube leaving as much of the wire on the PCB.
Remove white plastic support for the 2 tube globes.
Drill the 4 mount pegs out from the back of the PCB.
Get the clear plastic support for the LCD loose.
Slide the green diffuser from between the clear support and LCD screen - be gentle.
Solder the 2 LED's to the tube wires left on the PCB
Aim the LED's at the end of the clear support - square on.
put hte PCB back into the case - leave the cover off for now.
Plug into car and test the LED's - re solder if the wrong way around :)
Replace cover and put the car back together
Job done:thumbsup:

New brakes plan for the V8. I just fitted a vt m/c & booster to the 88 wagon and what an improvement. The wagon's booster has slowly died after the accident last year - when the car was rear ended the daughter's foot was firmly on the brake at the time.

Big thanks to Markovr (JC Forum member) for making the kit up for me - fitted in no time at all. Great work Mark.

So I'm saving to do the V8 now.....
