I went to a wrecker to get a front window for my vh many years ago. He got me to look at it before he took it out It wasn't until he started to take it out I noticed a chip in the window. However I was lucky because he cracked the window getting it out. I don't know if he was hamfisted or they are a problem to get out in one piece.
spent a fair amount of time tonight trying to cut the rubber with Stanley knife, though I was going fairly good, untill we got to bottom part of window

the rubber was rusted on to the window channel, so it wasnt going to come out well
In the end broke the window
However wanted to take the glass out as the rubber in bottom of windscreen wasn't good. I remember I had to replace this when I purchased the car and it was transported up from Adelaide to Victoria, and the glass got sandblasted and need to replace, seems the install previously job must have been a little suspect and probably leaked

However new glass and rubber
took the surface oxide off the channel and started to get all the rubber urethane on channel
degrease and hit it with Fernet oxide convertor

Need to pop out the rear glass as well just to be sure there isn't any rust in channel

come this far whats a little more stuffing around

That wiper plenum has been under development for over three years.
VN plenum - wiper cowl:
Looks like therer are a few sources now for the plastic cowl plenum:

1. fibreglass: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/284318478788?hash=item4232b3b1c4:g:im4AAOSwoZ5guDfB

2. plastic: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/154836986448

3. Plastic: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384803071076

NB: Items 1 & 2 look to be same through different suppliers
Not sure whether I should glue mine together, or replace it will review latter

Made few phone calls today to get the valve springs and retainers sorted.
After a lot of deliberating decided to go Beehive and pay few extra $ for the PSI springs, although need to purchase the retainers separate as they don't come in a kit like the #1511 springs, however with some help managed to use a PAC retainer with PSI spring.
Hoping I can get away with + 0.050" valve lock to increase installed height of VN valve from 1.71 to 1.75 -1.76 which would give slight increase with installed height however spring rating would be 409 psi aiming for 395 psi originally

I was going to suggest .050" locks. could also take a little off the spring seat? I was going to do so with my next set of heads as I was already going to cut the spring seats and use spring seats that locate the spring on the ID instead of OD.

that shouldn't be too difficult I have so much crap in my shed its not funny any more, may have to extend the garage to create some space
Paint decision
have made a few inquiries and received different quotes, however have decided to have a crack at painting myself with acrylic
paint, and go through local company Bayside Auto paints, https://www.facebook.com/baysautopaints/ as always found them friendly and extremely helpful on phone and technical support, and family business been in business 20 yrs on Peninsula
shopping list
4 litres IF075 Maranello Red
6 litres thinners
4 litres high build high build primer
1 litres of plastic primer
8 litres of thinner gen purpose clean up
2 litre degreaser
budget: $600

let see, firewall coming on, so need to get a lick of paint on there shortly as soon as temperature starts warming up
