Hey all. I got into my VN tonight and looked underneath the dash and found some sort of card thing. It plugs into a plug and allows the car to be started. Once you take it out the car dont start or nothing. Anyone know what it is? Should i get pictures for people?

its an immoboliser so instead of pressing a remote to turn off the immoboliser u put in your card
and if you want to turn the immoboliser on take the card out.
    hope this helps.

    Sweet Cheers JDZVNHSV

I was thinking of putting in a alarm system into the car would having the card be advisable aswell as the alarm? or do i have to bypass the card for the alarm to work with the central locking ect ect ....

its some sort of non genuine immobiliser thing.
the socket is supposed to be mounted so when you leave the car you unplug the key & stop the car from going.

never seen one like this before

    Cheers Rob
