I have a set of the side moulded carpets in the VN boot already, they made the boot area look so much neater. I now need to get carpet over the very rear of the boot (latch area) as this is ugly and the black paint has been damaged over the years.. I have a VR/VS carpet section for this area but it's a different shape obviously, different boot seal setup, taillight sizes etc and it won't fit. Is there a VN/VP equivalent? Also, the bootlid has dynamat over it and I wonder if I can fit a carpet over that? Was there a bootlid carpet for VNs?? While I'm in the vicinity, how much difference does Dynamat make on the inner guards? I hear they rattle a fair bit with subs, and the VN has a 12". Sam
Should b able 2 get the carpet around the boot latch area my calais has it so mayb the up market models have them? or mayb just the VPs have them? i couldnt tell u but i know mine has it.
Thanks Ant, I'll have to look at the VN Calais we have at the wreckers, maybe it'll still have one! Should neaten it up a bit anyway. I just need to replace the main boot floor carpet then, that one's looking a bit shabby.
Yes, anything with a luxury spec tag came with it... calais, stato etc... They come in 5 Pieces i believe. L+R Tower Cover Floor Cover Wheel Well cover Tail Light Covers (L+R) Latch Cover There may be +- 3 Piece there.. i cant remerber... But, there is DEFFINATELY a piece available, calias will have it for sure. aZk.
