VN cluster to VP

    I know this is an old forum, but is it any problem to fit VN cluster with tacho to 91 VP ?

    Easy, VN-VP ones are easy to change, not VR VS thou they fit but i hear they just dont work on VN- VP

    Thanks Wingnut0021, just wanted to make sure before I install it. It seems strange VP Exc never came with tacho.

    Hey Muggie, my VP has a tacho standard.I know the owner that bought it new and it has always been there,its an Exc.

    Thanks Brocky_05, I have had the vehicle for 10 years now and knew the previous owner. Something strange is going!!!
    I will have to do some checking.

    Mines a VP Vacationer that was ordered from the factory with Cruise control and manual - and it did not com with a tacho cluster.

    My VP exec has no Tacho either.

    Looks like the VP tacho must have been a special request on some VP'S.

    Jeez marz and smithy, you two have been shafted then as well cause mine definately has one and has been there since new.

    I got my tacho from a Lexcen VN, they all had stock tachos and look a little nicer.

    Going by the service manual the tacho is an option on the VP.

    Fair enough muggie, I was just looking at VP parts on ebay and all of the VP clusters in there dont have tachos either, thats a new one on me I just assumed that they were standard. I am lucky to have picked up a VP with a tacho.
