Hey guys, my friend has a VN V6 and for a while it had intermitant starting, somtimes it would start somtimes it wouldnt, and now it just cranks and has no spark at all.

We jumped the black /white wires near the computer and we get 4 flashes, then a break, then 1, so we assumed this was a code 41 which saiz its the crank angle sensor, so we replaced that yesterday and its still cranking and has no spark.

Also after we replaced the crank angle sensor we still get 4 flashes then 1, does this have to be reset or does this mean there still is a problem?

Anyone have any ideas of what may be wrong?

Thanx in advance guys.

it can get that code when the dfi under the coils dies too so if its still there after an ecu reset check the plug on the dfi and then replace if its no better
