You really need to find a dyno tuner and get him to remap it over a few runs.

It's running a stock motor at the moment. Am just after a power boost for 4 runs this season then we are stripping the motor and setting up a twin turbo set up.

What sort of gains are you hoping for with everything stock and a memcal tune?

I guess that is what I am trying to figure out. Ecus are a new thing for me. Carbs and cruisers have been my toys. Was hoping to do injector upgrade larger fuel pump then milk out what I can

TBH you might as well wait until you have the turbo and cam upgrades. If you go CAI, Pacemakers as well as memcal then you might notice the gains. If your looking for some more pull fit a lower ratio diff.

Yea I do realize that but my first run is in 8 weeks so don't have time to rip it apart. So will just run stock if I have to under the time limits. Just run avgas and have some fun.

Probably not worth tuning it then before you do some more work. Memcal cost me 140 bucks. IMHO save your money until you have some more upgrades. Delco might have a different opinion, he might say a tune is worth it? He races so would definitely know for sure. I know with Pacies as well as tune the gains would need a dyno to show how much on mine, as its not like having more cubes. I noticed a it a tad but it wasn't much.

How are you getting hold of avgas? Are the rules different in NZ. Used to be able to get it at the track over here but they banned the sale of it. Even with a airport licence they won't fill a jerry for you as drums need to be avgas approved.

The big ph5029 competition pacemakers and twin 2.25" twin exhaust setup and a cai and tune can do wonders in these things over the 1/4 mile
