is there a difference in ECU'S between the models and the years?

ie.
would an 89 calais ecu fit into a 91 calais
or an 88 executive into a 90 calais?

is there any differnce or is it all just plug and play? :D

yeh, it's stil lthe cluster
thought i'd change all clsuter and ecu before tackling the loom
but i rekcon you could be right and it will be the loom, so i'll try the 'bridging the connections with mulitmeter' idea :D

VP Exec
The ECMs are functionally the same (1227808) in VN-VP, JD unleaded & JE Camiras, LD Astras/N13 Pulsar manual or auto. but the (plug in) MemCals are different. The MemCal is the blue thing visible with the ECM case open.
