In the wiring diagram I'm looking at I can't see any input to cruise control from the VN ECU .. this is positive. There's a wire that goes to the trip computer, so I can only assume that's what tells the CC unit how fast you're traveling

Considering that my LS1 PCM is feeding the correct speedo signal to the dash cluster, which is reading correctly, does this mean I can just wire up cruise control as per factory specs, with no adjustments ??????

If so, that'd be awesome. Long drive this Friday/Saturday/Sunday... Perth->Sydney.

here's the other trick.. how do I suspend cruise control when the clutch is pressed? No provision for that in the wiring diagram that I can see - just two brake switches listed ???

not sure about the first bit, but i know that when you convert from auto to manual you put a switch on the clutch pedal(from memory its exact the same as the brake cruise switch) and wire it in series with the brake switch.

Just use the speed signal (2 pulse) for the cruise to engage (purple white wire on the VN)

I think that it should work fine if you have the dash working already.
