Hi all holden Guru's, this is my first post and would like to know what is required to fit a series 1 T700 into a S2 VR. Should I just fit a 4l60e and keep it standard or put in the stronger cable kick down box. Can anybody help. Regards, Nick.

I'm not an expert but I would say you might have troubles with the VR computer not piking up the VR gear box and giving out fault codes and is it a V6 or a V8.
And for the username does that mean you into Suzuki's?
    Hope that help Pat.

Thanks Pat, yes I am a big fan of Suzuki's, the name zooknut is just transferred accross from outerlimitis4x4 web site. I think I have worked out it should be ok to put the vn gearbox. And yes I should have clarified it is a V6. What I am running at the moment is a VR V6 with a toyota maual gearbox, so the computer does not talk to the gearbox anyway, so changing the gearbox should not worry the computer or engine. Thanks for your advice and help from other Members on this forum! Nick.
