hey guys i have got Wrecked VN WAGON with a LSD witch i was looking to put into my 1985 VK commodore. After some resurch i found out that a wagon diff wont fit, i have a spare VS sedan diff sitting in my shed, will the LSD center fit into the VS diff and will the VS diff my VK?

you can fit lsd to vs diff and you can fit diff to vk but i'll warn you theyre 40mm wider than vksso your track will be wider and your wheels will stick out too far

The center will fit... But being a VN LSD it will be shagged.

May as well get it rebuilt while you're at it, and by rebuilt... I mean actually get it torn down with new oversize clutches fitted. Well worth it, trust me! People just get them 'reshimmed', which works ok. But owners dont realise all they are doing is putting washers in there to regain the 'grip', and pay way too much just to get that done. IMO while its taken apart get new internals put in, not that expensive!
