vn manual gearbox to fit vr auto motor?

    Can someone please tell me if you can put a vn manual gearbox into a vr that is currently an auto? I have been told an auto motor will only take an auto box.

    You're better off chasing a VR box. Do you know what series the VN box is? S1 or S2?

    the vn gearbox is the same as a vr.

    only difference will be the flywheel.

    series one has 6 bolts and series two has 8 bolts.


    if it were a vn series one. you would have to change either the crank/engine or get a crank adaptor.

    Ohhh okay, I was under the impression bellhousings changed at some point. I must be tripping :p NEED MORE SLEEP!

    just the fact that your still up working on your car is crazy. my work stops when it gets cold and dark.

    cant blame you for trying. i wasnt having a shot or anything
