Hi i cleaned my engine bay today and was very careful not to get the coil pack wet. After i cleaned it i started her up and it idled very rough and continued. It seemed to get better and was ideling like normal. When i took it for a drive it seemed to missfire if i put my foot down. It was all perfect before I cleaned the engine bay. Im guessin some water probably splashed into the coil pack. Any ideas anyone? It is a Vn series 2 . Cheers

I have used the high pressure hose from the local car wash in my VP engine bay a number of times while cleaning my car. The only problem I have ever encountered is if you aim right at the oil pressure switch above the oil filter, you can get water in it that requires some WD40 and sunshine to fix! I try not to aim at the brake master cylinder or up into the airbox, but other than that I just sprayed where it was dirty.

Fixed it today. Found the leads were all screwed. Ran it last night in pitch black and 2 of the leads were shorting out all over the engine. Gave me a good ol shook as well. painful dont try it. Cheers
