VN 3.8 V6 rock crawler
Hey guys & gals
I’ve just obtained a rock crawler with a VN 3.8 V6 in it.
it has been running for however long with no issues but all I’ve been able to do since getting it is drive it off the trailer

it cranks but won’t fire. Have confirmed has spark (also replaced plugs, leads, coil pack & DFI)
Have replaced crank angle sensor & confirmed crank key still in tact
Have replaced ECU

immobiliser is overridden by constant power being provided to A6 wire in the ECU

It will start off brake cleaner

it seems that something is stopping the ECU from triggering the fuel pump & whatever else is triggered at the same time.
What am I missing?

Tested the fuel pump relay and whether it's getting power to the pump?

^^ that or the oil sender has died, which cut power to the fuel pump to save granading you engine due to lack of oil

Bridge the fuel pump relay to check your fuel pump is working.

Also check for any kill switch or shut off that may be fitted.

You can bypass relay to run f/pump if you want to...if you put testlight on signal wire it will light 2-3 secs when hit accessories to prime system then turns off untill engine starts, ecu signals f/pump relay.

i'd be checking it with noid light at injectors ...could still be junk brand cas

on vn/vp you can unplug oil sender they'll still run.
