This is probably a bit of a stupid question but i was jus wondering wether or not my engine is the right one for the year of the vehicle. is there any easy way to determine this

i have a vn n its a 1991 but the engine in it has the thermostat housing at the rear. i thought that was only in the earlier vn's. can anybody enlighten me n give me the bad news n tel me this is a swapped motor.:bang:

it would b a great help, just interested.

Yeah it sounds like its a swapped motor man. The thermostat is at the front on series 2.

you can also tell by the water outlet being at the front of the inlet manifold, any pics???

just because its a earlier motor dosnt mean its "dodgy" may have had less k's the S1 engines still go aight just are a bit diffrent
