This is probably a bit of a stupid question but i was jus wondering wether or not my engine is the right one for the year of the vehicle. is there any easy way to determine this i have a vn n its a 1991 but the engine in it has the thermostat housing at the rear. i thought that was only in the earlier vn's. can anybody enlighten me n give me the bad news n tel me this is a swapped motor.:bang: it would b a great help, just interested.
you can also tell by the water outlet being at the front of the inlet manifold, any pics??? just because its a earlier motor dosnt mean its "dodgy" may have had less k's the S1 engines still go aight just are a bit diffrent
