Hi Folks,
I've now found myself part of a project where a group of guys swapped a 3.8l Buick from a VN series 1 into an off road time trials car.
After reading through the forums, it seems like we are having the same injector cut-out problem that presents with a dodgy anti-theft system. Problem for us is that we don't have the system in this vehicle since they only kept the motor, box and loom.
I've reached my limit of capability as an auto electrician without reference material available to work out a solution so am hoping one of the wiring whizzes on here can give me some options to bypass, short pin or bridge some wiring to get the injectors to fire.
Engine cranks, has spark, has compression, doesn't pulse injectors at all....
I know when I've found the limit of my capability and I simply haven't been exposed to this issue before so am hoping you all can help!
