VN SS Fuel System

Hi Guys,

whats the name of the regulator looking thing that is down the back end of a VN V8. Just after the external fuel pump the fuel hose goes from pump to regulator looking thing. mine is leaking fuel

na its not the fuel filter. looks like some sort of fuel regulator with an adjustable screw on the top

couldnt really get under the car to see but from looking at this image i might wait till it dries and run it and make sure its not starting from the pump end

ok looks like a fuel dampener, it just helps stop the pulsations in the line, the vr-vs had one at the intank pump outlet, if it cant be replaced u can just use some rubber fuel line in its place its not the end of the world if its not there

hey mate thanks for the advice. if its the dampener leaking its definitely coming out, doesnt work anyway, heaps of pulsatation in the line at engine bay end anyways, cheers

Yep it’s the fuel damper.
