Is it a brand new ignition module?

When the car is dead and doesn't start, establish if the car has spark (screwdriver up the coil lead, near the engine body, and then on individual spark leads)
If spark is good, check if you're getting ignition pulse. Remove an injector plug and stick a parker globe in there and crank it. If it doesn't flash, you don't have ignition pulse.
If pulse is good, undo the inlet fuel line and see if you're getting fuel pressure when the car isn't starting.

If you have spark and fuel, go and buy a compression tester :p
