Hi guys, have ordered a new IAC.

In the meantime am chevking all vac hoses. This one pictured, has a small hose bent so it cant breathe with "VAC" written on the throttle body.
I presume it goes to a carbon canister but my car doesnt have one. Should I leave it alone?
Thanks

On a 5 litre that's where the vacuum connection is to the carbon cannister-two lines about 3mm ID. If that's correct for your engine I'd make sure there are no leaks and leave them sealed.
