Gday, need some help/opinions my tranny sometimes works sometimes it doesnt. Not selecting gears at all when it does it struggles to get moving in reverse and doesnt shift out of 2nd. Is it time for a new tranny or is thete something i can do to fix it?

check the fluid level. before you shell out for a reco or second hander, change the filter and tranny fluid (service it) see what happens. otherwise sounds like its kaput....
