will a v8 vn flywheel fit and work on a vn v6 6 bolt pattern crank?

just curious if anyone knows cos v8 billets are cheap compared to v8 ones. my mate did a conversion of a v6 series one into his hilux and was chacing a v8 flywheel to chuck in. would it have worked?

as far as i know the input shaft is diffrent, and the bolt pattern isnt the same either, sure the converter may be the same...

plus arnt the v8's a 8 bolt? the LN4 was a 6 bolter however the EV6 was a 8 bolter, as the V8 isnt a buick motor, its a aussie donk i doubt the bolt holes are the same...

maybe someone else can give more insight

V8 flywheel will not fit any v6. The flywheel is a lot bigger and completely different bolt pattern.

Paradox: For the record the 5 litre has a 6 bolt flange.
