VN V8 5Litre running rough in 2nd and 3rd gear

Hi All

My VN 5 litre EFI V8 runs rough and jolts when easing off the throttle in 2nd and 3rd gear ( T5 manual gearbox ). It seems to run ok when the foot is down on the accelerator but as soon as i come off the pedal the car wants to jolt and kind of bunny hop, Where would I start to fault find the issue?

Any codes besides 12?

If you also have a rough idle have a look for manifold leaks-gaskets, hoses. Otherwise I'd have a look at the ignition wiring and spark plug leads for starters.

first thing is to check your battery....13V or get a new one, check your alternator, make sure its charging correctly with hi-beam , AC on, then do a fault code test. go from there
